Lindsey Engels, AIA

Principal Architect & CEO

Lindsey has been working, mentoring, and teaching in the field of architecture for the past 20 years. She graduated from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo with a Bachelors of Architecture and a minor in Sustainable Environments and has been a licensed architect for over a decade. Lindsey specializes in sustainable architecture for civic, high-rise, industrial and residential buildings.

Lindsey served as an adjunct faculty member in the Civil and Environmental Engineering Department at California State University, Fullerton for six years, and volunteered her time as the managing advisor for ‘Team OC’ for the 2015 Orange County Solar Decathlon team. Combined, she has taught and mentored over a thousand students. Previous to her teaching experience, Lindsey the Pacific Region Representative for USGBC’s Emerging Professionals, and Executive Director for the Orange County Chapter where she led a major fundraising effort for the Davis Magnet School ‘Greenovation’ project. Lindsey is also an advocate for affordable housing and green schools.

Lindsey founded Arclogica in 2017, excited to share her ideas about design, sustainability, and social causes. When she’s not working or volunteering, Lindsey enjoys traveling, hiking, biking, snowboarding and rock climbing. Her favorite destinations are ones where emails and phone calls can’t reach her. If you get an away message, she’s probably climbing a mountain or rappelling down a cliff somewhere.
